Finding A Lot

Lacrosse Homes builds a variety of new home floorplans across various Eastern Shore locations in Maryland. We work with customers who have found a homesite as well as those who are looking for a lot on which to build. We’ll help you determine if a particular homesite is a good choice based on your home design dream.

Your Home Design & Personalization

Your Home Design & Personalization

This part of the Build On Your Lot process determines what home design will work best for your lifestyle and personal needs. Once your personalization process is completed, we go to contract and outline the procedure for building your new home.

Permitting

You have solidified your contract and loan approval and we are now working to obtain a building permit for your new home, The timing for obtaining a building permit is determined by the overall market landscape and will take several weeks to obtain. Our sales team will keep you informed as to the status of your County approval. Once approved, the construction phase begins!

Pre-Drywall & Construction

Pre-Drywall & Construction

Your new home is now under construction. At this stage your home has been framed, electrical is installed and insulation applied. A team member will schedule a Pre-Drywall walk with you. This meeting gives you the opportunity to walk through your new home and review your checklist of personalization preferences and requests on site. After this, a Pre-Settlement walk will follow and, finally, a Closing walk on the last day of settlement.

Settlement

Settlement Day on your new home has arrived! A service manager will schedule a one-year anniversary inspection walk through that will resolve any new home construction issues that may have occurred after one year. For peace of mind, Lacrosse offers you a leading industry warranty to cover issues that will address any larger concerns. Welcome to the Lacrosse Homes family!
