 Lacrosse Homes, Inc., a family builder fulfilling dreams across the shores of Maryland and Delaware, proudly announces their commitment to build wounded Iraq War veteran, Sgt. Jason Nielson, a new, specially-adapted home in expression of gratitude for Sgt. Nielson's service to his country.
The public is invited to meet SGT. Nielson and his family at a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Lacrosse "Welcome Home" project tentatively scheduled for Friday May 11th, 2007. For details, see www.laxhomes.com.
Lacrosse President, Lindsay Dixon, first learned of Sgt. Nielson through "Homes for Our Troops," and he knew immediately that Lacrosse Homes, Inc could do something to help Sgt. Nielson and his family.
"It just made sense," said Lindsay Dixon. Sgt. Nielson made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country and the American dream. Homeownership is a fundamental part of achieving that dream, and a dream that Lacrosse Homes could full fill to Sgt. Nielson and his family. The value of this new home is priceless but we felt it was our "duty" to help support our troops locally."
Additionally quoted by Lindsay Dixon, Sgt . Nielson was originally interested in asking Lacrosse Homes to renovate his home not build a brand new home. Lindsay Dixon felt renovating would be a good fix but didn't want to have Sgt. Nielson 's family to live in the home while renovations were taking place adding undue stress to the family. The specially adapted home, will be built at no cost to Sgt. Nielson , or Homes for Our Troops .
Sgt. Nielson ' s new Lacrosse Home is located in Blueberry Hills, a Lacrosse Homes neighborhood featuring 50, 3/4 home sites. Blueberry Hills is conveniently located in Milford just miles from Rt 1 and Rt.13 as well as the local VA Hospital and shopping.
