As we reflect on 2025, one word comes to mind: momentum. This year marked a period of steady growth for Lacrosse Homes, rooted in our longstanding commitment to Maryland’s Eastern Shore and the homeowners who choose to build their future here.
Growth Across Communities and Custom Homes
In 2025, we continued to see strong interest across our Building on Your Lot and Custom Homes service lines and our thoughtfully planned communities—ranging from luxury garage townhomes to move-up and luxury single family detached home designs. This balanced demand reflects what we value most: offering flexibility and choice to meet homeowners where they are in life.
We were also excited to introduce two new communities, Meadow Creek and Placek Place, with significant interest and sales in the final quarters of the year. These communities will remain a key focus as we move into 2026.
At the same time, we proudly closed out Ellendale at Kent Island, a highly successful townhome community just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Stevensville. With only one final townhome remaining for delivery, Ellendale stands as a highlight of what careful planning and great locations can achieve.
What Buyers Told Us in 2025
Throughout the year, we noticed clear trends shaping how people want to live on the Eastern Shore:

Company Milestones
2025 was also a year of important milestones for Lacrosse Homes. We announced a leadership transition, with longtime Vice President of Sales Bruce Orr stepping into the role of President—ensuring continuity, experience, and a deep understanding of our markets.
We also launched our rentals division, along with a new website to support that effort, expanding how we serve the Eastern Shore community.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we move forward, we’re excited about several new communities coming online, including Foxx Farm in Sudlersville and Eden Estates (groundbreaking this Spring) with single family and villa homes in Denton. These projects represent our continued investment in the region we proudly call home.
